You could be worseYou know proper cell phone etiquette, but you don't always practice it. With just a little more effort, you can avoid the evil stares of strangers and save yourself the embarrassment of revealing private details on a quiet bus. Remember to use the environmental settings on your phone, excuse yourself from a conversation if it is necessary to make or take a phone call, and brush up on your cell phone etiquette here. And really, talking on your cell phone in the bathroom?
I took the cell phone quiz. What my results were are exactly what I got. They say I know the right and wrongs, but sometimes I need a little bit of time to review and practice them again and again and again. I feel like not one single person in the universe practices the good and right ways of using a cell phone

Task 3 Week 10
I have now finally finished my service learning at Sabor Latino. I finished my hours during Spring Break. My whole experince there was a roller coster. I had ups and downs through out the whole way. Sabor Latino is a very good restaurant with some of the best food I have ever tasted. I learned how hard it is to be a waitress and just the whole process of catering to someone. When I usually go to restaurants and waitresses or servers in general take so long I sort of jut to get mad, but now knowing that it is not easy I understand how people and I need to be patient. I enjoyed my service learning days.
Task 2 Week 10
I feel like I do have good communication. I feel like I can communicate with who ever I need to. I can communicate by email, phone, letters, and even hand gestures. I can not communicate by sign language. I never had understood to sign language thing but I have seen people do it and it still doesn't ring a bell! I love communicating with alot of different people, because it is a way of getting to know things that we don't know about. for example cultures, families, and jobs or people in general.
Task 1 Week 10
- Verbal Communication-
- Talking- sometimes you might say something you are not suppose to say.
- Singing- some signing have bad words or bad realated things.
- Giving a speech- You might get nervous and totally freak out.
- Non-verbal Communications
- Sign Language- Some people do not know sign language.
- Hand Gestures- Some hand gestures are similar to others so we can not identify.
- Mouthing Words- People might not get what you are saying and maybe take it wrong.
- Written Communications
- Email- You never know if it is really the person you think it is.
- Letters- Same as email, letters can be written from someone you do not know to get information out of you.
- Posters- They are sometimes annonimous so their wuold be no problem in who wrote what.

Week 9
Task 2a-
An accurate assessment of my attitude would be not spoiled but sort of a spoiled attitude. I don’t know what to call that. Anyways my attitude is very unique but then again I feel like most people feel the same way about their attitude. I know how to control myself, but honestly I mostly react negatively in most situations in my life. I react quick and without thinking, which is a bad thing because most people don’t like people that jump into conclusion. I am like that because, well I don’t know why but I just am. I have been like that since I was little and trust me I don’t like it either. I am who I am and that is what makes me. I am friendly though!
Task 2b-
The attitude I displayed at my service learning was much different then what my reactions really are when something gets me mad. I always kept a smile and was happy and doing my job the way it is suppose to be. When I was at my service learning I usually kept me anger towards other employees to myself. I never went off on anybody because I know that there would be consequences. I really enjoyed working at Sabor Latino and there were times when I was happy with other employees.
Task 2c-
I feel like my mom has put a positive attitude impact in me because she knows how I am at times. I and she are more likely to be alike and we both are happy and friendly people, but unlike me she doesn’t get mad easily. When she gets mad at my siblings or me, she doesn’t show much anger when I am around, because she wants me to learn how to control myself. I am not a fighter but like people push my buttons to the point where I don’t care what I am about to. She supports me and accepts me the way I am but she doesn’t like it at time.

Task 3 Week 8
At this point I have returned to my old job, just for Wednesdays. Last week I was a full time waitress, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. I served Mrs. Siegmund and Mr. Siegmund, oh by the way I also served Flat Standley A fried twinky with powered sugar on top. I received some money which was a good thing, since a have a child to support. Other then that everything was great, not to much of a full house but it was an okay day. I look foward in working tomorrow so I can gain some of the money I spent this last weekend.
Task 2 Week 8
In the article I read it talks about different injuries teens can go through while working in a fast food restaurant or just a restaurant. It mainly talks about how you have the right top be safe and get health and safety training. I was reading of how three of the most hazards can happen and they were slippery floors, sharp objects, and hot cooking equipment at a restaurant. You can easily get cut with a knife and slip on the floors, you never know.
I also learned that teens at certain ages have different work hours required by the law, and coming to a younger age the laws get stricter. Like 14 to 15 year old teens can not cook or bake at a job, they can not do construction work or manufactured jobs. And for teens older than 15 the rules are more flexible but then again are safeties. Under the age of 18 you can not drive a motor vehicle, not even a meat packing job. I have learned that some employers do not follow these rules, even if it is for teen’s safety.
